Made of pure essences from plants, herbs and trees, this oil is not to be confused with fragrance or decorator oils which are synthetically produced.
Because of their purity essential oils may be used in a variety of ways for health and beauty.
(La Lavande Essential Oil does not come with a dropper.)
It is suggested to use an eye dropper)
Ways to Use Essential Oils
Aromatic
Inhale directly from an opened bottle.
Put in La Lavande’s Clay Diffuser, nebulizer, or other style diffuser. Follow manufacture’s directions.
For steam Inhalation, put 3-5 drops of Essential Oil in hot water, cover head with towel.
Close eyes as some essential oils are strong.
Topically– Essential Oils should be diluted with a carrier oil before applying on skin. Most aromatherapists recommend a dilution of 5% or less essential oil mixed with a carrier oil. Carrier oils can be any high quality vegetable oil although typically sweet almond is used.
Rub on bottom of feet, chest, temple and pulse points. Keep away from eyes.
Massage -3-5 drops per ounce of vegetable oil.
Bath-Add 10-15 drops into bath water directly under tap.
Natural Perfume-Blend approximately 30 drops if you are using a 1/4 oz roll on bottle. Best to use jojoba as a carrier oil. It has a very long shelf life.
Special Essential Oil Properties–
Lavender is considered the “universal essential oil” and is well known for healing burns and sunburns. Many people keep it in their emergency kits Some professionals recommend a solution of 50% Lavender 50% carrier oil for this purpose.
