Albert W. Wightman ha trovato l'ispirazione per la sua attività nella sua bisnonna, Elizabeth W ightman. Una donna con lo spirito pionieristico dell'indipendenza e della determinazione.
Era nata con un senso di eleganza classica e una natura romantica che si fecero strada nel cuore di Albert e nella sua attività. Fondò un ranch nella Sierra Nevada e Albert ricorda le estati che trascorreva lì da ragazzo. La proliferazione di fiori, lillà, rose, lavanda, magnolie, violette... la fragranza lo avvolse e divenne la sua fascinazione.
