A personal note from the Founder
"I grew up surrounded by fragrance in Los Angeles, with night-blooming jasmine drifting through the neighborhood, my mother tucking scented soaps into drawers and wearing elegant perfumes. At thirteen, we traveled to Grasse, France, the world's perfume capital, where fields of flowers carried their scent for miles. We toured legendary parfumeries, and my mother brought home a bottle of Molinard Habanita, a treasure from 1964 I still hold dear today.
That passion for fragrance only grew. In 1976, I opened Telluride’s first florist, and in 1987, I launched Hampton Court Essential Luxuries featuring classic heritage houses like Caswell-Massey and Floris of London. A year later, we relocated to Santa Rosa, California, establishing our home in Northern California’s beautiful wine country.
By 2001, we brought Hampton Court online as early digital pioneers, allowing us to share Molinard Parfums alongside curated soaps, lotions, and home fragrances from niche makers around the world. Today, we remain devoted to discovering essential luxuries for the body, home, and soul, serving our community with deep gratitude."
