Molinard

Maison Molinard, founded in 1849 in Grasse (the birthplace of the worldwide perfume industry) in the Provence region of southern France, has remained an entirely family-run business right through to the present day. 

Molinard originally manufactured Eaux de Fleurs (flower-scented waters) and Eau de Colognes that were then sold in its small store in the heart of Grasse town.

In 1860, two new Molinard perfumes were introduced onto the French Market, "Jasmin" and "Rose", later followed by "Violette".

1921 was a highly creative year for Molinard with the introduction of Habanita, the world's longest-lasting perfume.

The library of fragrant products that Molinard has created over its 150-year-plus history is extensive.
